The establishment of a Metro Station at East Boldon has resulted in severe street congestion due an over spill of commuter cars. Residents can no longer park outside of their own homes, cross roads safely or access their local shops. Commerce has also suffered with patrons spending their money elsewhere due to the lack of parking spaces outside of local amenities. This blog is a diary of the resident’s attempts to reclaim their streets!

BOLDON OF OLD
With the Metro line closed between Pelaw and South Hylton, the side streets and roads around East Boldon are particularly quite.If ever proof was needed as to the cause of congestion in this area, then we have it now!
